A. Mechanical Joints
1. Bolts and Nuts
Bolts and nuts are widely used due to their ease of assembly and disassembly. In the production line of electrical appliances, when attaching the outer casing to the internal components, bolts and nuts are often employed. Workers can easily fasten or loosen them using wrenches, which is convenient for product maintenance, repair, and upgrade. In a computer manufacturing production line, bolts and nuts are used to secure the motherboard to the chassis, allowing for easy replacement of components in case of failure.
B. Quick – Connect Joints
Quick – connect joints have become increasingly popular in modern production lines due to their fast connection and disconnection capabilities. In the production line of plumbing fixtures, quick – connect fittings are used to connect pipes. Workers can insert the pipes into the fittings and lock them in place with a simple push – and – twist motion, significantly reducing the installation time compared to traditional threaded or welded connections
